Watching is a digital installation containing an array of eyes that follow the movement of its viewers conveying the paranoia of the surveillance state our society exists within. Based on my previous projects, I wanted to continue to make work that fit into the surreal style I have been using. Moving away from simply “weird”, I wanted to attempt something more on the creepy side of surreal. I decided to go with eyes and convey the feeling of being watched through an interactive installation that was effective in a small-scale digital environment.
