This project was my first attempt at a longer form comic as the beginning of a series about an alien invasion, parodying modern conspiracy culture and misinformation through the exploration of aliens in its plot. This project encompassed the first issue of the comic along with an installation to go alongside it. Using imagery stereotypical of conspiracy theories such as a board of images tied together with threads, found posters, and torn out book pages, used alongside process materials including pencil sketches of the pages of the comic, character sketches, and the script of the story, I aimed to create a display that blurs the boundaries between the real world and that of the story.
