Creation in the Age of AI
Creation in the Age of AI is a series of zines, along with a book compiling the set, depicting my concerns with the state of AI usage, particularly in creative fields, in a surreal nonlinear style. This series is divided into six parts each depicting a different aspect of the AI issue, following a progression inspired by that of Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, beginning with the shadows on the wall and ending with the reveal of the truth. Covering topical issues of AI including the devastating environmental effects, the negative effects on brain function, and the defeatist attitudes towards its usage, I aim to persuade readers to quit AI use in order to make creations of their own.
