Shell
This project uses natural shapes and curved lines to create a cohesive sculpture. It is inspired by the shape of a snail shell and the curves are created in two separate parts. This project was approached as a sewing project, with the pieces being sewn right sides together, which creates curves and dimension between the two spiral pieces. Due to the pieces being sewn right sides together, a seam had to be added down the center in order to join the two sides of the sculpture.
